The Beyblade franchise began in 1999, inspired by the “Bei-Goma” traditional Japanese tops and a modern battling system designed by Toymaker TOMY Company Ltd. Beyblade has grown into an international phenomenon, with a full Beyblade universe spanning three generations, Beyblade, Beyblade: Metal Fusion, and the current Beyblade Burst series. The franchise covers not only physical gameplay, but also digital gaming, live events, manga, and animated series.
Beyblade Burst, which introduced the Burst System with tops designed to burst apart into separate pieces, was created by Hiro Morita’s Japanese manga and toy line which first launched in 2015. Now, Hasbro is releasing an exciting new Beyblade Burst battle set, Beyblade Burst Quadstrike, with Hasbro continuing to release the new QuadStrike line of battling tops throughout the month of December. The Beyblade Burst animated story also continues in the action-packed seventh season, which is set to premiere in spring 2023. The intense trailer features a mysterious new player, Quadra, entering into a tournament full of exciting elemental Beyblade battles.
